CEVR congratulates Dan Ollendorf on his new role at ICER

Dear Friends:

You may have seen the attached press release announcing that CEVR’s Dan Ollendorf, PhD, MPH will become Chief Scientific Officer and Director of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Methods and Engagement at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER). Dan will formally join ICER in November.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to Dan on his appointment and we are pleased that he will continue a strong connection with CEVR in the future. Specifically, Dan will maintain his faculty appointment at CEVR and will continue to teach in our graduate certificate program and participate in ongoing research for 20% of his time. He also hopes to foster greater collaboration with CEVR and other organizations in his new role at ICER.

As most of you know, Dan served from 2007-2018 as ICER’s Chief Scientific Officer so he is returning to familiar territory. Since 2018, Dan has served as CEVR’s Director of Value Measurement & Global Health Initiatives and has played a prominent role in our work on value assessment methods and drug pricing policy as well as continuing his work in international HTA.

We are proud of Dan and know he will do an outstanding job in this important new role.

Please let me know if you have any questions about Dan’s move, including any implications for ongoing CEVR work.

Regards,

Peter
