CEVR Welcomes 2025 CEA Registry Summer Fellows
CEVR is thrilled to introduce the 2025 cohort of the Tufts-CEVR CEA Registry Summer Fellowship program, which is supported by the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation.
Over the next eight weeks, six talented students from graduate programs around the country will review hundreds of cost-effectiveness analyses (CEAs) for CEVR’s CEA Registry while conducting original health policy research of their own.
To get to know the fellows better, we asked them about their research interests, career aspirations, favorite pastimes, and unique experiences. We have shared some of their responses below.

Rosemond Amamoo
Pursuing a PhD in Health and Pharmaceutical Outcomes at University of Arizona (2027)
Research interests: Cancer
After completing her studies, Rosemond plans to work in the pharmaceutical industry, assessing health intervention impacts and resource allocation. A top item on her bucket list is taking a cooking class in Thailand. She has an identical twin who was a fellow in 2024.
Pooja Gokhale
Pursing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Health Services, Outcomes and Policy at University of Georgia (2027)
Research interests: Lung cancer
Pooja hopes to pursue a career in HEOR, focusing on CEA for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. She enjoys reading, trying new recipes, running, and knitting.
Hao-Hsin (Taylor) Huang
Pursing a PhD Pharmacy System, Outcome and Policy at University of Illinois Chicago (2028)
Research interests: Atopic dermatitis, diabetes, atrial fibrillation
Taylor is looking forward to gaining technical skills and connecting with others during the CEA Registry summer fellowship. She is passionate about economic models and machine learning. Outside of research, she enjoys photography, capturing Chicago sites when she can.
Larry Mose
Completed a MSc in Health Economics at University of York (2024)
Research interests: Cancer
Larry is an aspiring health economics researcher, looking forward to refining his research ideas and forming HEOR connections. During his undergraduate degree, he had the opportunity to dig dinosaur fossils in Montana.
Hanxuan (Astrid) Yu
Pursuing a PhD in Health Policy at Harvard University (2030)
Research interests: decision analysis, disease modeling, and quantitative methods
Astrid plans to continue working in academia after completing her PhD, and she is looking forward to strengthening her literature review skills and connecting with faculty and peers. Astrid is an (independent) movie fan and has watched over 800 movies in the past 4 years.
Fengdi Zhang
Pursuing a PhD in Pharmaceutical Health Service Research at University of Maryland (2029)
Research interests: Cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, infectious diseases
Fengdi hopes to lead research projects in HEOR or health services research after completing her degree. She enjoys running, skiing, and eating spicy food.
