CEVR Congratulates Dan Ollendorf on ISPOR Board Election
The Center for Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health (CEVR) of the Institute of Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies (ICRHPS) at Tufts Medical Center congratulates Dan Ollendorf, PhD on his election to the Board of Directors for ISPOR – The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research. Dan’s election is a testament to the quality and impact of his work to advance the field of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) worldwide. We’re thrilled to see his work recognized through election to the board and look forward to seeing how he helps ISPOR continue to grow.
As a board member, Dan will encourage continued advancement of HEOR methods and empirical evaluation of the impact of those changes. He will also work to expand opportunities for stakeholder communication and collaboration within health technology assessment (HTA). Dan serves CEVR’s Director of Value Measurement and Global Health Initiatives and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine; he is also the Chief Scientific Officer and Director of HTA Methods and Engagement for the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER).
In addition to his positions at CEVR and ICER, Dan is a non-resident Fellow in Global Health at the Center for Global Development and recently completed a five-year term as Chair of the Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi) Global Policy Forum. He received his PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Amsterdam, and an MPH in Health Policy & Management/Epidemiology from Boston University.
