CEVR Welcomes 2018 Summer Interns

CEVR is pleased to welcome our 2018 class of summer interns! Bringing a wide range of education and experience, the group will work to read more than 300 new cost-costeffectiveness articles for CEVR's Cost-Effectiveness Registry while also conducting analyses using Registry data. 

Mackenzie Bullard is an MPH candidate at Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy, Law, and Health Care Management. His research interests are focused on the cost-effective analysis of pharmaceutical and therapeutic treatment pathways for pediatric mental health.

Paulos Gebrehiwet is a PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Economics at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Paulos’ research interests include using patient level data to maximize outcomes such as better health quality and longevity while minimizing costs to promote affordability and sustainability in health care.

Dhaivat Joshi has an MS in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University and a BS in Pharmacy from Charotar University of Science and Technology. His research background and interests include health economics, cost-effectiveness analysis, and meta-analysis. 

Priyanka Kulkarni is an MPH candidate at Boston University School of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics focused in Pharmaceuticals. Her research interests are focused on cost-effectiveness analysis of interventions for treatment of chronic and non-communicable diseases.

Romel Patel has an MPharm in Quality Assurance from Gujarat Technological University. Romel is pursuing an MS in Pharmacoeconomics and Policy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University.

Ameya Rane is an MS candidate at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy. His current research interests include health economics and outcomes, epidemiology, market access, and pricing and reimbursement.
