CEVR Announces Two New Members of CEA Registry Scientific Advisory Board
CEVR is pleased to welcome two new advisors to the Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) Registry’s Scientific Advisory Board
- Feng Xie, PhD, Professor, Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, McMaster University
- David Vanness, PhD, Professor of Health Policy and Administration, The Pennsylvania State University
The Scientific Advisory Board comprises senior scholars in the field of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Members provide expert counsel on database improvements, outreach opportunities, and research initiatives. Dr. Xie and Dr. Vanness are joined by four other esteemed Advisors:
- Elena Elkin, PhD, Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University
- Julia Slejko, PhD, Associate Professor of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research at the University of Maryland Baltimore
- Christopher McCabe, PhD, Professor of Health Economics, Queen’s University Belfast
- Ankur Pandya, PhD, Associate Professor of Health Decision Science, Harvard University
The Board recently convened to discuss priorities and future directions for the CEA Registry in 2025. In the coming year, the CEA Registry program will enhance the CEVR Summer Fellowship by integrating additional professional development workshops and will continue piloting AI-assisted efficiency improvements in its data collection process. Board Members provided insightful feedback on CEVR’s plans to expand CEA training globally, and proposed future research directions that leverage data from the CEA Registry.
